...by a big boat load of Chihuly's bright, brilliant baubles!
I enhanced my sketchbook with a few of my own...
A Chihuly-esque style endeavor
of the pen and watercolor variety...flipped, of course, to the dark side
for that little extra "somethin' somethin' "!

"Baubles, bangles,
Bright, shiny beads.
Sparkles, spangles,
My heart will sing, sing-a-ling-a,
Wearing baubles, bangles and beads."

Oh Margaret, I have been positively enchanted by your Chihuly's posts! The combination of cacti and glass is something I have never encountered before. And these baubles, wow! Anything round and glassy always manages to thrill me. Love your rendering!
Thank you so much for giving us a window into your world.
*hugs*

PS ~ Love your new profile photo, too! It really brings out that sparkle in you I've come to know!
You've certainly got the know how for jeweltones!! Such a treat to see.
Beautiful, Margaret! In June, Rob and saw this Chihuly Exhibit at the De Young Gallery in San Francisco. It was amazing then, too. But you have a special way of interpreting what you see and it's delightful!!
Beautiful interpretation. Love his work...and those boat exhibits...love yours too! Now, it would be fun to send Chihuly photos of your work and see how they inspire him...and vice versa...could be an endless loop of work, and I'd love to see it ALL! Thanks for sharing.
Eye candy!
Both the bowl with glass and your mandala!
Margaret your bauble is just amazing...Beautiful work!
Beautiful!!!
That exhibit is so beautiful and I'm so glad you went and shared all that beauty with us. I can see how much it impressed you also with the reflection in your art!!
I think you captured those baubles in your zenmandala just perfectly.
I think this is the best Chihuly display yet.
mandalas! beautiful!
Margaret, both versions are delightful! I love your use of bright colors and fine detail.
Wow, Margaret--his work AND yours are stunning.
