lead free...ink straight in...

and watercolored a few days later, at home.

Sometimes, 

I feel like I need to draw...just like I need to breathe.

Yes, this IS desert land...

ancient pecan groves...stone walls...

bricked courtyards...

soft feather like pines...

lush, thick flower beds...

earthy, sweet smelling root vegetables...

roosters...

cacti, succulents, palms and all!
