"Skywatch Friday...(#3)..."

The view from my patio to the northwest...

...and the view from my patio to the northeast.

The photos were taken seconds apart...at about noon today...

camera held in horizontal orientation

for both shots...

I simply pivoted on my feet...from left to right...

What an

amazing contrast in "verticality!"

The second photo reminds me of smoke signals

or even a bit of a "cloud tornado".

After bring these up on my computer screen

I decided to take some more shots of the vertical cloud formation...

But...

it had simply vanished

into a thick milky white cloud bank of a canvas

as if washed away

by a wet paintbrush in an artist's hand.

and unseasonably cool day in Arizona's Valley of the Sun today-

Highs to reach only into low 90's...

Currently 86 degrees at 11:00am...cool and delightful outside!
