"Art washes away from the Soul the dust of Everyday Life" -Pablo Picasso
Beautiful, Margaret!LOL, I had to google the phrase to see it is Hawaiian ... a place I so want to visit, and oh I *will*!*hug*(: Pippa
Beautiful Margaret. I haven't made a single Christmassy sketch yet, except for shopping ones. We haven't decorated the inside of our home just yet, we wait as long as we can so the waiting doesn't seem so long but they are going up this weekend. :)
Gorgeous! Especially the snowflakes! Your doodle style is just perfect for each individual flake!!!
That's so pretty and I love the negativised version! It's just like Christmas lights at night - excellent idea!
Snow is one of my favorite things, as are ornaments...this is one of my favorite sketches of yours. It has made me so happy.
How very beautiful, Margaret. Both versions are colorful and gorgeous!
What a coincidence. I finished up my art time last night be sketching a wreath and creating some different snowflake designs.Mine were not nearly as beautiful as yours, but I learn a lot by how you create and how you lay out your gorgeous pages.Love the M. Scott Peck quote, too.Best,Kim
So beautifully done Margaret!! I'm with you on Mele Kalikimaka. Someday I hope to go back to the land of paradise.
I love the thought of celebrating the good in each of our lives during the holidays. Sometimes--especially during the last year with all of its stressors--we tend to forget to look within and to celebrate the good in each of us. Thank you.
This one is wonderful! I never thought a palm tree could look so fine with snow and christmas ornements...
Beautiful, I like both versions.
I am remiss in comments--so sorry. I just love to see how you create things and the two views are a treat.
Wow. These are so beautiful. And I love the quote. thanks!
