Dear Margaret,
Wow, these photos are great. I can't wait to see your sketches. I saw some of these pieces when Dale Chihuly's exhbit was in SF...but outside and in the garden ~ WOW.
Thank you so much,
Kim
Wow what amazing pictures!
How inspirational!
I love how you presented this in the rainbow colors!
I love his work - I hadn't seen much beyond the huge glass sculpture of his just inside the Victoria and Albert museum in London, and actually I hadn't remembered that that was where I knew his name from until I saw your 'blue' picture - it's in exactly the same style. Lovely series of photos. :)
Thank you for sharing, Margaret! Looks gorgeous...I'll look forward to your sketches.
Yum! I am devouring every morsel of your buffet. The dessert will be your sketches! Yes, please, I will have seconds! Lisa
His glass is inspirational but your photographs really bring them to life in the desert.
I keep looking at these photos. That yellow tower of glass is huge yet it is in scale with the rock hill and the brilliant blue sky beyond.
The orange one literally looks like fire coming out of the earth.
This color wheel is spellbinding. I can't wait to see what it inspires you to paint.
He is so amazing!!!! You've captured the feeling well Margaret, but having been up close and personal to some of his work when he had an exhibit at the Monetery Bay Aquarium, I know how breathtaking it is in person! Lucky, lucky you! Thanks so much for sharing Looking forward to your beautiful interpretations :)
What a treat! This is awesome!
I saw Dale Chihuly's work once at Garfield park in Chicago, but this seems unbelievable :)
Are the Cacti safe, with these pieces so close to them?
Thank you, Thank you.... HCM
