They carry love to our hearts and joy to our spirits.
They lie written on the very fiber of our physical selves...
telling real time stories of happy times, or tragic trials,
or of milestones
we thought we would never reach.
Sometimes, they lie buried deep inside our inner core...
waiting like precious jewels to be uncovered.
Sometime they flow freely out of us...generating the smile of a child,
reflecting in the eyes of a loved one,
bringing beauty through the touch of an artist's brush.
They become our story
and
age gracefully into our history.
Lifelines give us wings and allow us to fly.
Appreciating them, developing them, and sharing them
allows us to SOAR!
"Whatever is at the center of our life
will be the source of our security, guidance, wisdom, and power."
~Stephen Covey

Skimming the EDM Superblog, I was attracted to the drawing and words. Have a great day.
It is amazing how that lifeline is so reassuring and important to us. Your drawing flows with these words.
What an AMAZING drawing!
Stop by- I have an award for you on yesterday's post.
Different than your usual bright style but very nice and textural. A little bit of Zen makes the world go 'round.

What a cool drawing! It's mesmerizing to look at, all those lines.
So simple and yet elegant. I love what you have written here too. I would like to have this as a framed print along with the text for inspiration.
All so true, and what a great way to illustrate it! You're sure in good form (guess that's nothing new).
I love your work, the pen and ink, the colors and the designs. Super job on Ro's outdoor scene! Roxanne
