"El Arbol De La Vida..."

..."a tree of life"...
inspired by old world Mexican ceramic folk art
and drawn and colored with a
"Waterblossoms" twist
in my trusty old black spiral sketchbook.
Psst...
my Muse had such great fun with this one...
that she keeps begging me
to make some more...hint hint...wink wink! :)

of this beautiful art form.

in the Garden,
but our hearts must be very quiet
to hear it."

Listen to our muse - she is wise. This is very beautiful. Love the fusion.

THe way you painted this one really made it come alive. I can hear the music.

P.S. I went to the link you provided. It seems like Mexicans always have such colorful art. I find that color so exciting. A wonderful way to depict life.

This is wonderful!

I'm starting a series of heart-shaped Milagros today. Seems appropriate for Valentine's day ;)

I too can see so many possibilities with a tree of life. Can't wait to see where your muse directs you! It will be beautiful I'm sure.
