"A Few More Bits..."

...from my Illinois travel sketchbook...:)
(Click on any image to enlarge...)
A snowy view...
An very commonplace airport gate scene...
and
A life sized ad for Halls cough drops
hanging directly across from our gate waiting area
complete
with a poor fellow with bleary swollen eyes
and a red stuffy nose.
Ah Choo!
That's the Midwest in winter for ya!
LOL :)

if winter comes, can spring be far behind?"

The snowy scene is so typical of around here too. The snow is finally melting here. Fun to see your travel sketchbook. I have spent many a hour sitting in airports. Funny how they all look the same too.

I had to stop and think about it being winter, for a moment. We've got clear blue sunshiny skies and 61 degree weather! It'll start raining soon, but it is supposed to stay fairly warm.

I love your painting all the more, because I don't have to deal with the weather, lol!

I too have waited in my share of airports. It's pretty bad when you know the airport codes for most major cities like ORD. I've been there numerous times. I love your sketches. My computer has been given me hard times and I've not posted much of late - I enjoyed going back and looking at all the goodies you've received. WOW!
