"Searching For Zen..."

...in a Midwest Illinois world of humidity...
a broken air conditioning system...
furniture moving...
carpet stretching and cleaning...
downsizing...
prehistoric appliances...
and readjusting to life outside of my desert environment.
Whew!
But...relief has finally come
disguised in
refreshing rainfalls...
invigorating and breezy cool air...
a brand spankin' new A/C unit...
my return to art...
and time to breathe and enjoy it all....Ahhhhhh!
This is one card, entitled "Primordial",
of a 6 card series for the zentangle swap

"Smile, breathe and go slowly."
~Thich Nhat Hanh

I understand the title, as the image seems to be growing out of nothing.
Loved the earlier Kalil Gilbran quotation.

What are you doing Peg? I thought you were travelling - have you moved? Glad to see that you've still time for art though!!

What a stunning piece! Wow.

I'm dying in this humidity and we don't have A/C. I forgot how oppressive it is...UGH.

please God let it rain soon.

And yes, have you moved???

Rain! That must be great, I don't remember what it looks like...
Beautiful drawing, love all the leaves surrounding the plant in an exhuberant way.

It looks as if you have found Zen for sure. Nothing better than a new AC in the middle of August.

Are you nearby in Illinois?

Great piece and words. Just breathe... just breathe... I am constantly telling myself amidst change.
