"A Dozen..."

...from my "Sweetie"...
They are absolutely gorgeous...and make my heart smile.
Mmmmm...:)

"If I had a rose for every time I thought of you,
I'd be picking roses for a lifetime."
~Swedish Proverb

"I once had a rose named after me
and I was very flattered.
But I was not pleased
to read the description in the catalogue:
no good in a bed,
but fine up against a wall."
~Eleanor Roosevelt

Margaret your roses are beautiful, I especially love that bud!

I saw your postcard yesterday, brought back memories of a great project and the start of our wonderful friendship :D I didn't comment because I am fortunate to own some of your beautiful work already and, however tempting, would love someone else to have that pleasure.

Had a good laugh at the Eleanor Roosevelt quotation !! As ever, a delightful piece of work.

I have sent you a BLOG AWARD, which I know you need like a head cold, but I just could not leave you out. Please check out my today's post.

Wow Margaret, that's absolutely stunning. Beautiful, sensitive rendering of the rose, and the design on the left looks almost fractal - they go together so beautifully.

Wow.

Aw, this makes my heart smile for you!

This was the first VD in 22 years that neither my husband or I said Happy Valentine's Day until the end of the day. We must have other things taking up brain space :(

What a delight to find this latest entry. The roses are beautiful, the lace edging and decoration is exceptional... and the quotes are great too. I got a chuckle out of the last quote. CONGRATULATIONS again on your anniversary and thanks for sharing your artistic reflections.

Wow! How beautiful! Roses are so hard to do (for me anyway!) You captured it perfectly! I also love the doodling (? if that's what it is) around the edges. Wish I could do that!
