after spending an entire day playing the
"hospital discharge waiting game"
Mom was, at long last, transferred to a surgical follow up
rehabilitation center.
Despite the fact
that her surgery went extremely well,
some severe leg muscle spasms
have been causing her bits of distress
here and there.
In rehab, she will receive therapy for 3 hours daily
to work out her new knee.
Muscle relaxants and massages will hopefully
help alleviate the spasms.
(Fingers and toes crossed! )
Her new "digs" at the rehab center are awesome...
her room is like a mini suite in a luxurious hotel.
It is really plush, soothing, and upbeat.
What a change from the hospital!
It's so interesting to observe
what a huge difference environment makes
on one's well being!

So pleased to hear that your mother is now enjoying more convivial surroundings - hope she is soon back to full health. Lovely picture - I was comparing it to the hospital one ......!

So sorry mum's been having these spasms - oh how they can hurt. Hope this delightful new rehab venue is nearer home. One peep at your lovely art spread today and I'm sure she will feel so much better.
Your beautiful spread with the roses by the mantle made me tear up as they show such a tribute to your mother and incredible strength for you to create this journal entry.
Oh I'm so glad she's in a better place that's cheerful and pretty!!
PT ought to make her feel much better eventually too. Spasms...not fun, poor girl. Give her my best!
Do you color these after the black lines are drawn in? Most of my pens bleed ( Pitt pens and Microns)
I find even the Ultra fine point Sharpie can be too heavy at times.
hooray for Mom!
wishing her a gentle and speedy recovery!
Oh yes I agree......
So happy for your Mom to be in the right place for her!
Hope she will get better soon.
What a lovely page you made on this occasion! Everything you do is a work of art!
