Surgery at this point is not anywhere on the radar! Whew!
And...get this...
only 3 weeks until it can come off...
but only... if I'm a "good girl" and follow Doctor's orders. :)
Hmmm...
This I can do...this I can definitely DO!
WOO...HOO!

This looks much better!!!!
(I mean your hand of course!)
Love the drawing! It is so much fun to enlarge it and discover all kinds of details.
I have bought a wonderful frame for your watercolor. It is in my hall but I need a better spot.
But I can already enjoy it until I have re arranged everything.
I am happy for you your hand is in something more comfortable......
wow! great illustration. words colour details. it has it all
Great news Margaret and another wonderful spread.
Is this a hand.book sketchbook?...I think they are the only book I haven't tried LOL! I'd like to but can't seem to find them anywhere in the UK, they have an elastic like a moleskine don't they?
Love this double page spread - what wonderful detail and intense colour! I'm glad your finger is all cosily tucked up out of harm's way. May it heal quickly!
I am so glad your hand only has to be trussed up for 3 weeks. I know you can be a good girl for that long. ;)
Love all the detail and color in this spread.
Amazing composition (and news) - as always.
Wow, this is great - wonderful colours! So glad the big splint is gone and you are mor comfortable now.
Great news and a great drawing to celebrate with.
Might be a little new splint but it looks quite awkward. 3 weeks will fly by with all your activity though. Great spread and loved the roses bringing some bright positive colour.
Clearly, happily NOt your drawing hand. Hurrah fot THAT. Delightful sketch.
still looks ouch.... you be good now! and thanks for all the lovely comments for my gd. hugs.
Lime-green tape - major fashion statement! :) This is a lovely, vibrant spread, Margaret, and you sound in great spirits. Thankfully it's not your arting hand that's damaged. A few years ago I broke my wrist and spent three months with my good hand in a cast - couldn't even move the thumb. I wasn't making art as frequently back then - if it happened to me now, I would be tearing my hair out (with my left hand, of course).
Oh this is a fun sketch! I love your roses!!! Good to hear you only have to wear the splint for 3 weeks!
Ah, this looks more comfortable! The subject is not funny, but your drawings about it are fun!
It's me again, to pass an award on to you! It's on my blog if you want to pick it!
Infinite blessings, healing and comfort to you and your hand (:
Love the sketch! I agree with Marianne- lots of niftiness to be discovered in the detail!
Glad your finger is doing better! I love this quote "Time is generally the best doctor"! I find it to be true as well! :)
It certainly looks better than the previous splint. Great journal spread!
