I like the quotes, they fill the head with images.
Well done.
Like the combination of the colour palette on the grey paper - it's a bit like dusk when all the life gets washed out of colours just before it goes dark. Nice interpretation. :)
Great artistic way to use the word instead of depicting the literal and obvious. You've opened my mind on other ways to represent pale.
Love the colour palette, the textures and the quotes. So soft and dreamy.
I love this piece!
The colors are so delicate! But still a strong piece!
I think I would like to use this palette to decorate a serene bedroom...ahhhh...relaxing
It's beautiful, Margaret...and I love the quotes, too, especially Shakespeare.
Beautiful! I love the addition of the words and the great quotes.
Your intrepretation is marvelous. The zenmandala is so relaxing to look at yet I feel a livelyness with the outer border.
I'll bet it was hard for you to use such subdued hues :)
It's lovely..and the grey tone paper adds to the paleness. Wonderful!!!
You always manage to track down the most applicable quotes for your work. Lovely post. By the way, is it still a zentangle if I add colour with watercolour???
It's a great design and looks hand-stitched which gives it a whole different dimension.
For some reason it reminds me of a sea urchin in a way.
Love the combinationof pale colours!
Ilovely pale piece. Wow! you are so considerate, putting the pale word in.
Yeah, this is truly a limited edition illustration design, I think it respond to the Christian Dior perfume slogan here so well:)
You certainly did your research on the "Pale" word :-).
Enjoyed every bit of this post, the drawing and great quotes!
Have a great day!
