"How I Felt...

...after the 3rd, and FINAL, Presidential debate tonight:

“I know that you believe you understand
what you think I said,
but
I'm not sure you realize
that what you heard
is
not what I meant.”
~Robert McCloskey

And on that note...I gift you with a bit of tranquility...
compliments of the state of Colorado
...my personal "nirvana".

I desperately feel the need to be in Colorado...
among the aspen
and on a road less travelled.

Gorgeous, gorgeous shots! My sister lives in Colorado. She swore she'd never leave New England and now she vows never to leave Colorado :)

I'm hearing you on the debate!

I was over=ruled in my house on watching the debate...so I did not get to see it. Was it more of the same??? I feel like I have heard it all...don't know.

Beautiful pics! I am looking forward to spending time in nature during my week off next week!

you all have an inordinate amount of patience for this election stuff...much prefer your country ramblings...sigh...

I can't comment on the politics Margaret because, much like those who fight for the top position...I understand very little of what they are talking about!
LOVE your piccys though.

the road less traveled. . . yes, that is where I long to be, too. Why is it that the road with all the traffic is the one we are on?

We were in Colorado in July. I'd love to see it when the leaves are turning. Thanks for these beautiful views.

I've been feeling an almost overpowering need to be out in nature myself. I try to keep up with things via brief stops on the internet. Otherwise, I turn it all off. That and nature are what I have to have for tranquility these days. Sorry for the ramble and thanks for the pics.

I would love to be in Colorado too. I can just see myself standing in a grove of aspens being showered occasionally with their golden petals dropping to their feet to keep them toasty this winter. AAaaaahhhhhhhh

I live on the road less traveled! We see a few cars a day. But it sure doesn't look like Colorado or Minnesota or Wyoming or California! The desert can be beautiful in it's own way but I do miss some of the non-desert areas.

You are so prolific. . . my thoughts after the debate was "huh?" LOL
Gorgeous photos--thank you so much for sharing!! I especially love the dirt road with the golden aspens. I just got home from a road trip (CA to OK and back) and thought of you as I drove on I40 through AZ. Now I'm trying to play catch up with my fav blogs.

you and I share a love for a place that is like no other - the only place on earth that is guaranteed to make me feel instantly at peace. Beautiful shots - thanks for sharing.
