"An Official Play Date..."

...with my "inner child",
a few real bougainvillea leaves,
and
some luscious drippy watercolor paints! WooHoo!

“There is a garden in every childhood,
an enchanted place where colors are brighter,
the air softer,
and the morning more fragrant than ever again.”
~Elizabeth Lawrence

Very beautiful. Yes it does seem the more we connect with the parts of our heart inside the more vibrant are colors, and every thing else takes on a wonder and delight as if we are experiencing it through the eyes of a wide eyed child in wonder.

How did you do this? I imagine there is a Photoshop step early on, but then when were the paints added? So cool and obviously great fun for you! The black background really makes the colors so bright.

Holy cow! This is drop dead gorgeous! How did you make this happen? I have never used photoshop but would love to learn. How did learn to use it?

Your inner child is very talented!(and you too, of course) Kids are so good with computers, maybe I should consult with my inner child when next I try to figure out Photoshop?

This is really beautiful!

Is this not the most poignant and beautiful poem? I want to go back to that garden. Your artwork is so reminiscent of this place in my heart.
