"Luck of the Draw..."

and
EDM #163..."Draw a Deck of Cards"
I "drew" the
Ace of Spades.
Casino card decks are used only for a couple of hours.
The decks are then retired and are either clipped or drilled.
A hole was drilled through my used casino card deck
from
Cliff Castle Casino in Camp Verde, Arizona.
Truly, this is a marked card! :)
Oh yes,
if you plan to hit the casinos...
be careful not to get "stuck" with a bad hand...
or
by a spiney cactus! ;)

I was stationed at Las Vegas for almost 2 years. All I ever got was stuck. Fortunately, being a young airman I didn't have any money. I was also to young so I didn't stick around any one place long.

Every cactus you draw, I just get more inspired.

Thankyou for your lovely comments. I have just enjoyed looking at your very decorative journals, interesting to see your subjects from your part of the world.

Retired and drawing cacti (or many cactuses for us less literate!). Does life get any better?

So I guess the only advice I can offer is, be careful where you sit!
