"Dear Diary..."

...Today

I drew, and painted, and blogged, and sketched, and blogged some more.

Retirement is a good thing.

Wonderful detail in all of your art! I loved your garden too! The color added to the original garden drawing really makes the piece.

Beautiful flower! Your "doodles" remind me of Zentangles. And I love the quote too - what a great idea for a sketchbook to have quotes with them.

Oh what fun to read these! Thank you each and everyone for your lovely, encouraging comments...

Jennifer the mini sketchbook size is 6"X8". Great size to tote around.

Mark, does that mean I am now published? Hee Hee ;) Glad your daughter liked it!

Thanks, Nan...I agree it came to life with the color-I really hedged on adding color for quite awhile. Now I'm glad I did.

How right you are, Scrappy Cat!...I use zentangle/doodle tangles quite a bit on various pieces-just changed the idea up a bit to fit my compositions. :)

Forever Young...I am still giggling at your "jelly-ass" description-you are a hoot! Hang in there..Your day will come! :)

Thanks also, to all the comments on the quote itself-I love to do calligraphy and have been collecting special quotes that for a number of years-now I get to have fun in sharing them with others! :)
