"Some Sunday Thoughts..."

...along with some simple zen inspired art for you!

“Perhaps middle-age is,
or should be,
a period of shedding shells;
the shell of ambition,
the shell of material accumulations and possessions,
the shell of the ego.”
~Anne Morrow Lindbergh

I thought this beautiful zen was a shell, then I read the quote. Perfect together.

I love your doodle/sketch and the quote is one of my favorites. I too love her book Gifts from the Sea. Wise words from a long time ago.

I love this shell - I expected to see a little sea creature peeking out the end! I love the pretty little girl shoes in the previous post too. How sweet are little girls?

No one in the world does zentangles like you. Your patterns are amazing and endless.

This is also one of my favorite books. I love how it reads so contemporary still.

This is beautiful!
