...with a contemporary, watercolor-batik style twist!
Ummm...
Yes, I must admit I was glued to the television last night
watching the last new episode of "Lost"
(setting the tone for the 2 hour series finale event Sunday)
and the season finale of "V".
However,
as planned as it may seem...
might
this extraterrestrial posting merely be
an ''unplanned coincidence"...
from a
"sideways/parallel" universe...
or...
not???
Hmmmmmmmm...
:)

I'm thinking crop circles! Love your imagination!
Hi Margaret. I saw your comment on my momma's blog (Linda @ Truthful Tidbits) and just thought I'd pop over to say hello.
You know, I've never watched Lost. It looks like an interesting show though.
Well, I guess I better get off to bed. Just thought I'd stop by and say hello!
Nice to meet you. :)

These are really great. Maybe more of us should try painting while we watch tv. No tgelling what we might come up with! My most imaginative things come from dreams, it seems.
These are indeed pretty cool! I'm wondering how you make the white lines stand out so sharply with the watercolors and stuff? Is there a trick to it?
I really enjoy your blog! <3
Love it! But am totally confused by Lost! See you soon! JGL:)
I love your batik paintings. Over the years I've done silk painting with wax resist leaving the same white lines in the drawing and the wet on wet appearance of the background and you make me want to pull out my tjanting again!
I hope these creatures are friendly. They sure are beautiful.
Awesome designs, and I wonder these Batik designs could be made into clothes and sold in Malaysia. Sometimes the floral and the faunas are just kinda boring back at home ya know...something totally different and unique would be great!
Amazing subject so well interpreted. Don't know anything about LOST, but sounds intriguing - especially from the results it created in you. Love them both Margaret.
Wonderful petroglyhs!
I am not a follower of Lost (my brother watches that one) or V (never heard of that one); but I like your art and wonder what of the shows guided your brain to produce such great works? I love the colors and the style.
STUNNING!! My latest favorite!!!
gorgeous work as always! love the colors!!!!
They are wonderful!
Ohhh love these.
These are wonderful and I especially love the backgrounds. nancy
