"A Change Of Heart..."

Change is the only constant.
Sometimes we expect it...like the change of seasons...
and it is almost pleasant.
Other times...
it hits us
like a ton of bricks...
coming seemingly out of nowhere-
piercing clear through our soulful self...
leaving us
without
the
right
words.
We struggle to find the light at the end of the tunnel.
Today,
I post this in love and friendship...
for JGL...back "home"
but living in a brand new world.

"Continuity gives us roots;
change
gives us branches,
letting us stretch and grow and
reach new heights."
~Pauline R. Kezer

Thank you, Margaret for the beautiful art and equally beautiful words. Although meant for JGL, I'm sure they touch many of our hearts.

I hope the changes affecting JGL can be worked out for good! It's so hard to face change that isn't welcome, yet must be gone through. Your hearts are beautiful - I love how you switch them out with colors.

Margaret- your post hit me right between the eyes!!! So true about change! You know I think I like this art using yellow so much! The black, white and yellow just look fantastic together...in a heart clump of roots! Awesome!!!

beautiful. it reminds me of the words:
'it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind, and a man's to mind the change!'

Wow, Margaret, beautiful beautiful beautiful. Your work reminds me of a bio on Raoul Dufy who ended up being very designerly, like you, and designed walls, fabric, ceramics. Submit your work! : )
