"Another Migraine..."

...my 3rd this week...
was totally "hatched" and in full torment by noon today.
I took some meds...
then
I slept a bit and then, in a migraine fog,
I drew this...
Feeling better now...but
was it the meds? or the nap? or the art?
that did the trick?
Go figure! :)

Illustration Friday: "Hatch"

Very full of strong emotions and well painted. One of my students just had the weirdest surgery for migraines. A Dr. at The Cleveland Clinic found that when he had done face lifts in the forehead area, the women who once had migraines stopped having them. He switched from plastic surgery to helping people with migraines. I'll let you know how my friend is getting along, and it may be something worth looking into. Migraines are awful

I don't think I have ever had a migraine, but I know the pain is debilitating! I hope you are better by now!

You poor baby. I hate that you are so miserable. I hope you don't hatch any more migraines.

I truly believe we have more migraines at this time of year from the barometric changes all the time - and the stress of the holidays - a one-two punch, if there ever was one. Glad it eased and you could create something. It definitely says "migraine!"

Man, that is EXACTLY what it feels like! What do you take? I swear by Relpax ~ haven't had a full-blown migraine in a really long time! At least you're productive when you're in pain ~ I just whine!;) Jan:)

AW, Margaret, I am so sorry to hear you're suffering. Your supernaturally wonderful woman gives me a good idea how you must feel.

This is how I imagine migraine would look! Well done!

If that's what a migraine feels like, I want nothing of it! Great bad drawing.

Boy, you sure captured that feeling perfectly! Glad it's on the wane.

Yes, that's it! EXACTLY. the hair and the pinched eyes are the most telling. My meds usually work for me but it seems as I get older I'm getting more and they last longer.....or maybe I'm just so tired of dealing with them. I take comfort in knowing that they do GO AWAY. I couldn't handle chronic pain like some deal with and know that it will never go away.

Oh lordy I do NOT miss those crippling headaches. I didn't know my hysterectomy would have had the bonus of no more migraines!

oops, TMI!! Lol!!

I'm glad it's gone. Three in one week is unbearable :(
