"Petaled Patterns..."

...drawn especially
for my sister-in-law Sue and my niece Kelly
who visited today here yesterday
and "tickled my heart"
with their enjoyment of my little Maruman sketchbook
as we sat in the warm sun
with Doug, Dan, Cole and Scott
experiencing a glorious Arizona spring day.
Love you!

"When angels visit us,
we do not hear the rustle of wings,
nor feel the feathery touch of the breast of a dove;
but we know their presence
by the love they create in our hearts."

Oh Margaret this is fantastic. It looks as though you tatted lace of love all around this rose. It reflects the love your dear ones brought to you perfectly.

Lisa described this perfectly - tatted lace around it! Your work is always so unique and lovely. I don't always comment but I always look and read and smile :) So glad you are on the mend!

Simply beautiful design. The patterns make it look like gems and sparks of light on the flower petals. Wish my thumb was better so I could get back to using the pen/pencil to do some zentangles... but meanwhile I'm grateful I can use the brush to work on the riverside scenes for Easter.

This is so delicate and shows the love you feel for your family. The poem is glorious!
Hope you got a cure from the 'Big' drugs. I have had an awful sinus?? type affliction where I have lost most of my sense of smell and taste? What I can smell and taste is really very bad!! No doc's can tell me what or why? Oh Woe is Me, :(

I'm fairly certain that's the most beautiful rose ... ever.

I love how you integrated the water color and the doodling into one beautiful composition.

Another WOW page - I love all the details. What a combination a rose with the effect of lace and different textures in the leaves - like different fabrics or needlework. Very nice.
