Beautiful work!
Beautiful - reminded me of when we were children and used to go around 'May Garlanding' on May Day. (Bit early I guess, and we still have frost in the mornings!)
Absolutely gorgeous
here's my spring injection for the day....aaaaaaahhhhh....have i ever asked you how you get the black version? could you explain it to me?
I love the way these flowers, bees etc entertwine with the cactus.
This is so beautiful...think it may be my favorite so far!
And lovely brushes pens and pencils are blooming too, so beautiful!
Lovely start to spring :) I love the inverted version too :)
Thanks for a glorious way to start the first day of spring. Your painting is gorgeous, delicious, yummy and the quotes are perfect. Have a wonderful weekend.
4:44am???!!! Good grief, your muse is working overtime!! But good thing as these are gorgeous blooms!!
Beautiful compositions and quotes to celebrate Spring. I was delighted to find your entries to start my day. Thank you for giving me such a treat to start the day!
I'm really enjoying your Spring Fling drawings, Margaret Ann :)

Ooooh, Margaret Storer-Roche!!
Deliciously Delicious!
Spring has not really sprung here yet----you must live in the West with the cactus---great wreath!
beautiful as always. I am getting a little spooked by the 444's though! they keep comming up everywhere I go...the time, when I am weighing ingredients, and now your post title! arghhhh
What a beautiful drawing...very Spring-like. We are in our Autumn now. :)
All of your pieces are so wonderful, but I have to admit that I am really enjoying these more detailed pieces a lot! they have such great movement and your colors are really lovely.
Beautiful! I love the colours and detail in this illustration to celebrate Spring!
These just get better and better, I'm getting spring fever.
You have so many comments on this post, I dont really need to add my praise .. but simply have to. Love the shapes, colour and little touches of linework. Wow, as usual that flip side is magical. Hurrah, Spring is here.
Margaret - that first quote absolutely blew me away - I love it! It has the same innocent quality that I love about e e cummings.
Beautiful picture to go with it - wonderful colours. Did you really do it in the middle of the night?? Or did you just finish it in the middle of the night? :-) Such detail...
Margaret - Why did I wait so long to visit your wonderful blog? Your creativity just blows me away! The dramatic black backgrounds just set these lovely flowers apart from what the rest of us do with our painted flowers! This is super work and a visit for the soul with the quotes.
I hope you can stop by and introduce yourself at this weekend's ArtChix sale. I will have three tables in the back of Studio I by the lockers and would love to meet you.

PS....I am an early riser, also, and love that time of day!
