...with pen firmly gripped in hand...
journal balancing on lap...water bottle within reach...
inked patterns running from brain to paper...
it was a marathon!
I exercised artfully each day and
time passed quickly into
a plethora of artistic aerobic minutes...
my pen strokes pulsating to
the non-stop dribbling beat of "March Madness"
droning from the telly... and then
later in the night
raising my heart rate to well above target level
under the merciless mind control
of the
Manchurian Candidate.
Whew!
I feel so invigorated!
My Muse says I even look thinner!
I flipped over that! LOL :)

and keeps the mind in vigor."

I just love your spirit and your humour.. and I need that right now. Did I tell you that I spent a few weeks knitting as a cycled on the stationary bike in the gym?? Created a bit of a storm at the club .. lol
my how wonderful Peg; you mean we can actually burn calories just by pushing a pen...?! Great art!
What fun seeing your sketches. March Madness does bring it out in everyone. I especially like the people in your drawings. They are such unique personalities. The zenfish is great too. I saw a tear coming from an eye too. Was that when AZ lost?? It was a tragedy that they couldn't quite pull off the win. I am now rooting for Butler.
I lost my comment---here I go again...these works flabberghast me ...just awesome !
Ok, Peg ~ love the drawings BUT, I don't think they count for a workout! Nice try though!;) heehee! Love ya! jgl:)
Well I have crazy pages like that too - only not as good! Love the manchurian candidate page.
Love these pages! Can't decide if I like the black on white better or the white on black. Oh heck! I don't have to choose! I can like them all! Right? :)
You are my kind of crazy!! And that's my kind of work out ;)
March Madness looms large in this house. DH picked UConn to go all the way even though he got his bracket busted early on!
I'm not watching any of it. I'm busy painting rubber duckies and the like!
I love both pages. Full of energy and delight!
Fun, fun, fun! Love the art work....
What fun, zany pages. I'm enjoying them immensely.
Enjoy the "play" pieces in your journal. I like to see the seed of future ideas.
Unbelievable! I love how you continue to do these...you seem to have an Artesian well of ideas.
These are just so cool =)
Your creative muse is very active and fit, isn't she!
