"A Persian..."

...Flower design
from the second half of the 18th Century, England...
jazzed up a bit with my Pitt Pen
and
backlit by a golden metallic watercolor and salt wash
making it simply glow.

Persia is such a beautiful country it is too bad it has been in such turmoil these past years. This is a beautiful flower. I really like the background. Isn't it funny that the word verification is unran. Sort of what I was thinking about Iran.
