"Continuing The Theme...

...of yesterday's El Dia De Los Muertos celebration
and part of my sugar skull collection...
(click here in case you missed it)
and to celebrate All Soul's Day...which is actually today
I present these two sugar skull drawings decorated
in my own zentangled southwest
"Cactus Monday" style.
Have a super soul-filling day!

I love these Margaret. This time of year I often feel like I have a cactus in my head. Allergies you see. I am allergic to almost everything I love outdoors.

Awesome skulls Margaret!
And so cactus Monday!
Thanks for the information about this day. I know it is very important in Mexico, but didn't know they celebrate it in 2 days, today is for the adults. I think it is very beautiful to remember the death.
Lovely ATC's as usual!

Your creativity never ceases to amaze. So cleaver how you weaved the cactus into these designs. When we were in Mexico several years ago I bought a bunch of cards for the Day of the Dead. These remind me of those but much better. Bet you could market them like crazy for that celebration. Thank you so much for my goodies. I did make flags and hung them up for Halloween then I woke up the next day with pneumonia. So have not taken a photo yet. I am feeling better but will get back to blog soon. Judy

I adore those sugar skulls, and your versions are a sweet treat too.

Love the skulls! Very original way to approach the subject. I like the Hispanic storyline of the skulls more than the American fright version.
