A Little Midnight Magic...

...artist trading card style.
This year
I have be making lots of art...I really have...really.
But...
for some reason though
my late night midnight art mojo
has not translated well into daily energetic
blog updates.
I apologize to all of you for that...
I cannot even offer any concrete reasons why either.
I just know it is happening.
It is my intent to become a more faithful
partner...
and not let our artistic good times fade away.
Hang in there with me...
I feel that soon that old familiar art magic
we once shared
will soon reenergize me when I least
expect it.
My fingers and toes are doubly crossed.
:)

“That's the thing with magic.
You've got to know it's still here, all around us,
or it just stays invisible for you.”

~Charles de Lint

I have sort of been going through the same dark hallway. There is light at the end. Love this atc. I am glad to hear that you are well, happy and creating art.

This is great! I particularly love the texture of the buds at the bottom. AND the quote from Charles de Lint, one of my favorite authors.

I do enjoy seeing your art so I do hope you blog more often. I miss our "old art group" who now posts less frequently. Life changes...I still feel the desire to do it and to connect to others who do it too.
this is a lovely piece and I like what I see in the post below too.

Is it the world recession, my husband's illness and need for my care, this constant rain and no sunshine in England, the lack of sales since May 2012 or simply not in the groove. Ah well, there are plenty of blogger artists sharing the same 'slow down' including me Margaret. However, I love this heart of seeds with all its potential.

I completely understand! By the time I get home from my 12 hours day the last thing I want is more communication. I hate to admit that! But I answer phones and deal with clients and doctors all day long. I just visit blogs without speaking (typing), absorb the art and then sleep :)

This is wonderful. Seeds of hope are bursting forth!

I too have been in a slow-down. I feel like my energy level is lacking - for me I think it's the rain, incessent rain that we have in AK. It's supposed to be the warmest month of the year, but we have had more rain and temps in the mid-50's so much that it seems it will never get warm again. I need sunshine.

You can't hold a pen in your hand with your fingers and toes crossed, so let go! Hope to see you soon...
