"Yeeuup...Some More..."

A "Cosmic Offerenda" (altar)...
...a tribute to "Pink Warrior" women...
..."Hera"...
..."Persephone"...
...and, finally, "Bones, Braids, and Bling"
I made and traded 25 such themed cards
last weekend
during Illustrated ATCs online
Halloween artathon.
(If you like...you can check them out
by simply clicking on the pomegranate heart
graphic on my side bar.)
My Muse has a serious addiction to these...
but...
I seriously think it's about time
to move on. :)

doesn't mean the circus
has left town."

I was just thinking the same thing...that I loved the hair. It really brings these women to life. The juxtaposition of pink/warrior seems very powerful and frightening.

What a wonderful idea to have this opportunity to remember loved ones together. As a family we often mention a great nanna or auntie, but never actually celebrate their lives together. Loved the artwork - so bright and colourful.

I can never get enough of your art, and these are marvellous too. I am so lucky to own some of your atc cards too.
