"Happy Summer..."

...from the red-hot Arizona desert southwest.
Temperatures today are predicted to reach 108.
And, for tomorrow, you might ask?
How does 113 sound???
Pretty dang bloomin' hot I'd say!!! :{
Grrrrr!
I best settle myself down now...and wish you
a most refreshing and happy
Blooming Tuesday...
where ever it is you may all home.

"Holding on to anger
is like grasping a hot coal with the intent
of throwing it at someone else;
you are the one who gets
burned.”
~
Buddha

HI Margaret!

I just had to tell you how much i love this sun! and the little Buddha saying. You remind me really how many different ways there are to draw the sun. You are limited only by your imagination.

Peg, this is beautiful and I do love the Buddha comment. Matthew is getting married on Saturday in San Diego. We head out on thursday. His bride-to-be is wonderful young lady and apparently very patient as they have been dating for SEVEN years. I would have kicked him to the curb by now. Mama's on a Mission!!!! Love you sooooo much. Hope you will be this way soon and we can get together.

Ooh, this does look hot...beautiful, but HOT! LOL!
Love the Buddha quote, a truth I learned several years ago after harboring anger at a family member(by marriage) for a long time. Realized it was hurting me lots more than it hurt her, so I let it go.

Wow! I thought the 89 we are getting in NH today is hot. Your scene certainly cathes the heat you are having. I love your beautiful work.

Yikes, you are going to spontaneously combust! Wish I could send you some of our rain and 60 degree temps.

These colors match the heat of the day. Hang in there. It is bound to get cooler sometime...hopefully soon.

This piece is my new favorite of your work! We are right behind you in temps as 101 is expected in Sacramento, CA. Hope that you are safe from the wildfires.

Wish I looked good in coppery colors like this, but they make me look jaundiced, lol. Love the quote...

I love your image. :) I used to live in the desert and you totally captured the Southwest. I also remember what it's like to live in temps that high. Sometimes I still miss it. ;)
