"Another Tropical Fantasy..."

...inspired by my
"need to be trimmed badly" bougainvillea! :)
The pink "leaves" are not the bloom...they are called bracts.
The blooms are actually very tiny
and found within a cluster of several bracts.
Pssst...I took total artistic liberty here to just have fun with
my inspiration and play. :)

Beautiful blooming Tuesday. I also loved the Monday cactus this week - it looks like stitching. Seeing something old afresh often makes us realise its value.

Most of the bougainvilla around here are in the same 'needing attention' shape. None look as beautiful as yours. Happy to hear you are playing.

This is lovely!
I got a bougainvillea for my birthday...........it is in the shed now lokking very sad. I wonder if it will come back to life.....
