He left just yesterday morning...
but it already feels like he's been gone a lifetime!
LOL:)
As I stood at the dining room table painting these...
my Red Hand*Book journal in one hand...
my paint brush in the other,
squinting my eye
and
measuring distances very knowingly with my thumb...
I felt very French indeed.
And...
as my high school French could take me only so far...
(...Sorry Mademoiselle Evard...)
I used a web tool for translation.
My sincerest apologies to anyone who reads or writes French!
I couldn't help myself...
I was just in a French state of mind! :)
Floraison joyeuse Mardi!
Happy Blooming Tuesday!
"Voila!"

Absolutely fabulous colors! They are just so vibrant and the colors of the leaves are just so good! THe borders designs are also very unique and they fit right in, and it's very much 'your-style'! What a nice gift, and the receipient must be the luckiest person on the planet ^^
This is gorgeous, and the colours, the borders, the writing - Tres French indeed!
BTW I'm going to post your anklet before the end of this week hopefully - so let me know once you get it :-)
Gorgeous colors!!! So carefree and French! LOL!
Beautiful, like everyone said gorgeous colours, well done!!
Let's see if I remember my high school French...
Tres Jolie... Very pretty
Love the play of light you managed to capture so well.
What a guy!!! And what a beautifully rendered remembrance. I can just see you being so French! lol
Hey, I could read the French and I only had one semester in eight grade! Mr Whiner was the teacher and he did Whine a lot. LOL
Beautiful painting. Really really wonderfully done.
I love your "french" talking. Several of us took high school spanish at my place of work and somedays we get in our "spanish" mode and pretend to speak spanish...it never works very well. We get as far as "how are you?" fine, thank you.
beautiful roses and vibrant colors, but I'm most fascinated by the borders - always a passion with me - and the French, oh the French - practicing my high school French from many years ago
please send more
Hey! As Marc would say, "You are very francais!" He only knows, "Ou es la bibliotheque?" (Where is the library?) which he uses in many inappropriate ways!;) Your blog makes my day!;)

I would sooo enjoy pretending French with you. :) ... and if my journal pages looked half as wonderful as yours, I would have dozens of full books on my shelves.
