My Special "Word" for 2013...

...is
BE!
I want to BE...
healthy...
active...
in the moment...
calm...(seriously)
imaginative...
curious...
inspiring...
and
wise.
This is quite similar to my word of direction
from 2009...
you can check it out here
if you like.
I guess when we feel a need for our hearts
to be directed
along a certain pathway
again and again...
repetition is a healthy and positive thing
and
time doesn't matter
at all.
So...
what word has captured your heartstrings for 2013?

"Do the one thing you think you cannot do.
Fail at it.  Try again.  Do better the second time.
The only people who never tumble
are those
who never mount the high wire.
This is your moment.
Own it."
~Oprah Winfrey

Focus... I think this is what my word will be this year. Focus on what fills my spirit, brings me pleasure, what makes me healthy. Wisdom should come with this focus. Hopefully...
Your mandala is quite appropriate for your "be"ing.

I agree - it's a wonderful post! The mandala is spectacular, and I love your choice of the word "be" for the year. Good one! nancy

Your choice of word is great. I like it. I just read Marianne's blog and she spoke of "slow and steady". I decided my word would be steady - I get so frustrated with myself for not doing all I know I am capable of, but maybe I just need to remain steady.

Beautiful words and mandala dear! What a way to begin the new year with this inspiration.
I haven't picked a word (yet) I guess I can't catch it in one word.....
Wishing you all the best for 2013 and that your dreams may come true!
