"Curtain Call..."

...for the last Blooming Tuesday post of this August.

“Remember to be gentle with yourself and others.
We are all children of chance
and none can say why some fields will blossom
while others
lay brown beneath the August sun.
Care for those around you.
Look past your differences.
Their dreams are no less than yours,
their choices
no more easily made.
And give,
give in any way you can, of whatever you possess.
To give is to love.
To withhold is to wither.
Care less for your harvest than for how it is shared
and
your life will have meaning
and
your heart
will have peace.”

I love the pastel flowers in contrast witht he bold border. There is so much need in the world one can be feeling great all the time.

I love the color against b & wh - that vibrant color is exactly the same as fireweed. So beautiful!

Lovely lovely art you create; and that first line is something I tell people all the time and try to practice myself.

I saw "curtain call" and I gasped thinking you were leaving us!

I adore Kent Nerburn. I once wrote to him after reading one of his books and do you know that he wrote back?? What a sweet, gentle man.

This is beautiful. I wish I could catch up on everything in blogland but Irene set me back some.
This was refreshing to me in many ways. Thank you.♥
