"Desert Forecast..."

Daytime highs this week will be seasonable
and
will range from 103-109 degrees
Fahrenheit...
which is still tolerable outside...
cuz
it's a "dry heat"...LOL :)
...and the night time temps will also remain
seasonable
cooling to the mid to high 70's
range.
This is good...I dread July and August...:(
So...
My forecast for all you
(northern hemisphere) readers today
is a
Happy "First Day of Summer-Cactus Monday"!
Now let's all sing along...
cuz...
"It's summertime, summertime
sum sum summertime...
Summertime, summertime
sum sum summertime...
Summertime, summertime sum sum summertime..
Summerti...iiiiii...ime!"
~Sherm Feller & Tom Jameson
"The Jamies", 1958

Pssst...Happy 1st day of Winter for all of you
south of the Equator...:)
(Sorry, no song...)

Beautiful page! And I understand about hating July and August! This year I'd have to include June. We've been breaking 100 degrees F all week, with 95% humidity. It is suffocating! Nasty stuff! I'm wishing I were back in Boise at the moment, where yesterdays high was in the seventies!

These are luscious and lovely! I guess I won't complain about the 85 degree temp with humidity to match here in the mitten! lol nancy

Hot is what that is no matter how wet/dry it is. It is unseasonably hot here too. We have had the hottest spring on record. I guess I won't complain to you since it has only been in the mid 90's but it has been that humid or worse. UGH... Your picture even looks hot. That is how I feel.

I love this as much as I love all of your wonderful work!
You made me laugh because when I was in Palm Desert I was amazed at the intensity of the heat (July...104) And now I'm back on the east coast and today it was 95 degrees, but honey, the humidity was opressive!!!
So I'm saying, in most cases...give me the dry heat ;)
