"Retro Posting..."

...the very first spread in my Red Hand.Book Journal...
drawn April 4, 2008...

and, then, following it up with a current post of...

...the final page and end pouch of the same journal...
dated April 10, 2010.
What a difference in artistic personality!
Now, I must ask...
during these past two years
have I just become a whole lot messier...
or busier...
or just more free spirited...
Maybe, a bit of all of these!!!!???
;)

"My studio has a personality of its own.
It can be a monstrous clutter from one end to the other
or, at times,
the very model of simplicity."

Yes, they are quite different -- but both are wonderful, wonderful pages!

This quote is perfect for your thoughtful look at your journal. I think we all start a journal with one thing in mind and end up with whatever or where ever our muse takes us. Your journal looks like fun fun fun.

They are different, but they are the same--both fantastic works of art.

Wonderful pages. I love the way the top one wanders around the page. Great work.

I agree with Lisa. I too start something out being just so neat and that goes by the way side quickly and ends not as I started out.. IF.. I even finish it. :o

Isn't it amazing to go back and see what you did 'then' compared to 'now'. Call it growth Margaret!

This Red Hand book journal must be something very special to thumb through judging from first and last entries. Amazing it took exactly 2 whole years to complete it.
