"The Tucson Connection..."

a fanciful...absolutely not to scale...
map of our travel adventures during our little spring getaway...
a mere 150 or so miles from home.
(Details with all the good stuff to follow!)

Such a nice map! Reminds me of the Lord of the Rings map ^^ I would love to have a map like this anytime instead of those boring up-to-scale ones... feels like a treasure map and makes me go "roaddddd tripppp!!!!" :)

Oh boy, can't wait to see what you did. I noticed you made it to Tubac, the mission and Sabino Canyon. Gosh, why do all the good things happen at the same time?! Or I could have been on that map also lol

This map is great Margaret. You went through some diverse landscapes and habitats. I can't wait to see all that inspired you to sketch while away.

I love this map!!
My husband went on a trip to Tuscon last year and stumbled into Tubac. He immediately called me and said I should be there with him. He loved the artsyness of the town and felt very sad that I wasn't by his side. Me too!!!
You live in a beautiful area.

I absolutely love going on road trips. With my sisters, not my husband. He doesn't like to go anywhere. But my sisters do and we have the most fun together.

What a great idea, I may steal it for my May camping trip.

Great illustrated map - gorgeous colours as well as informative. Glad you had a good time if exhausted Margaret. Await your sketches with great anticipation. Was the previous post a special cactus you found on the way?

My verification word today for this comment is 'madway' - not sure if that sums you or me up!!!

I LOVE your map - what a wonderful way to capture the journey ... the colors and everything about it makes me just a tad homesick. :)

You do such a fine job Margaret... Love looking at this map... Did you know I am going to have a big solo show next year at a Museum and the topic is imaginary maps! It will be a challenge this exhibit!

Anyhow you have a little gem here :-)
Happy Map Monday to You!
