"Politics Bugs Me!!..."

Click on photo to enlarge...I feel like bee #3
It always has...! :(
The Presidential debates left me in a really dark funk tonight.
I tire of the posturing,
and the creative interpretation of the "truth",
and the fingerpointing,
and the double talking,
and the "I, I, I'ing..."
and all the rest of the bunk.
It drives me Bonkers!
It happens on both sides...all the time...and it bugs me!

....And
...then there is the $750 Billion"Bail out"!
I'll save that for another night.
$$$Grrrrr!$$$

I agree! My husband listened and I found it more interesting to play on my computer!!!! This campaigning has gone on waaaaaaaaay too long!!!! What they say/what they do are entirely two different things. I have wanted to write to you all week about George Williams College Camp--we went there when I was a child and spent a week at a time. I had an aunt and uncle in Evanston and we would stop and then go on from there. What a great place to go and with such good memories. We alsways stayed the week the college kids put on the their play in the auditorium with the sides that could be pulled up and down...then there was the College Inn where you could get phosphates. My dad played golf over by the Yerkes (sp) Observatory. We would take the boat around the bay, mail would come by boat or you could go out on a Catamaran. Yul Brenner had a house on the Bay...the Village of Fontana, etc. All before the Hugh Hefner Mansion came to be! Have a great weekend.

Loved hearing from you Margaret...I could go on about Lake Geneva...one last comment...I loved the arts and crafts that they had available there for you to enjoy...painting on wood (bowls, etc.), copper enameling...it was a tremendous place for a family to spend a vacation. My husband and I revisited it several years ago...still a lot like I remember it! Just a couple of new buildings up on the hill! Also, I am a retired 4th grade teacher...spent 30 years teaching and now am retired also...doing my someday items (always too busy/or too tired during my teaching years) and art was a main goal. Have a great weekend.

I agree I couldn't listen or watch and had to go to my studio - Both sides are bad -- politics is politics and none of it is good -

BUT, I have so enjoyed your midwest journey and have been keeping up with the posts but not making comments all the time - Just wanted to let you know they made me homesick - and these bugs are awesome - thanks for all the wonderful art you share with us

What a perfect piece to express the frustration of politics! It all certainly bugs me, too. Last night's "debate" was just sad ...

Amen, Margaret! Cute bugs, though...

Oohhhh, lovely little bugs. They seem to have a glow, so my first thought was fireflies (or as my southern kin say, "farflies")
My biggest beef with elections is the media, and I won't say any more.

It is a beautiful sketch but perhaps you should have drawn rats or chameleons. Well, okay, save that for the next rant :)

I agree with all you said!

Totally agree with you, that's why I don't watch tv anymore, only tv programs and reviews (and kids shows...). Beautiful little bugs you drew as illustration!

I agree the polititians are buggy. If they were as attractive as these bugs I might not mind to look at them at least.
