What a happy collection...love the colours....
Margaret I don't know of anyone's blog that makes me smile as much as yours does. Your drawings, as well as your writing, evoke joy in every stroke!
Love the drawing. The colors really say "Fall". Love the quote too.
And you even got the cacti in it! Super.
More gorgeousness from my friend, Margaret! Love the colors, composition and style!
Happy first day of autumn to you too! I love your drawing!
Margaret how nice that you could join us at the picnic, and I see that you brought the mood and atmosphere of autumn with you. For our delight!
It's turning out to be a marvellous picnic...so nice to see everyone enjoying themselves...
I like the art work. Arizona is so pretty one can't help but be creative living there. Can't wait to visit your beautiful State again someday.
Thanks for stopping by my 'picnic'. Hope you brought some bug spray. Buzzzz ... [giggle]
Happy Fall Y'all!

The watercolor is outstanding - I love the touch of the golden fall leaves in the corner - and you are quoting one of my favorites from Thoreau! All perfect!
Your drawing is just beautiful! I love the colors and it's all abaout an autumn picnic. Perfect! I'm so glad you joined in the fun!
Cynthia
Ahhh, lovely-and a perfect way to spend the afternoon-sketching and listening to good music.
the main key here is to breathe in the fresh air and feel alive ..yahoo.... here's to a good winter!
Hello...did my comment here stick?
I think my earlier comment was lost in the cybersphere. I just wanted to say that you have added an atmoshpere and mood of autumn to our picnic with your illustration. And the Thoreau quote...may we all lift our champagne glasses and drink to that toast!
Wow beautiful painting and with a cactus there!
I have some cactus figs at my picnic, make sure you taste one!
HCM! And have a nice picnic!
>M<
This is just gorgeous! I enlarged the image and am just lost in its warmth and openness. Bravo!
I just added you to my favourites too. It's nice to meet you:)
Autumn already?? Didn't we just do this last year?? :)
what a beautiful watercolor! everything you have included makes for a perfect fall warm weather picnic, especially the Thoreau quote!
Happy Cactus Picnic Monday!
What a gorgeous water colour - I could spend all day just watching you paint!
Margaret Ann, thanks so much for inviting me over and yes, I would love to paint with you. Let me settle down right here where I can see that vase of sunflowers to an advantage. Do you mind if I swish my brush in your water jar? Oh, this late afternoon sunlight casts the best shadows at this time of the year!
I'll be sure to show you my painting once I'm done. Yours is just fantastic! This is so much fun.
Wowie! What a day this has been...The sun is just now setting in the Arizona desert the western sky is all aglow in peaches and lavenders...my new found picnic friends are peaceful and content and filled to the brim with delicious food, sweet song, and delightful conversation.
Thank you Museswings for organizing this global event...What a feast for the soul! :) Can't wait until our next get-together!
Wait wait for me. I know I am late but never got past Joplin, MO and the day was not a picnic until I came here and all the other picnic places.
FABULOUS PICNICS ALL OVER THE WORLD!!
Such juicy wonderful colors. Love it.
I hope you aren't really taking the cactus along. You must be careful. Happy Cactus Monday here on Thursday.
