Margaret I don't know of anyone's blog that makes me smile as much as yours does. Your drawings, as well as your writing, evoke joy in every stroke!

Love the drawing. The colors really say "Fall". Love the quote too.

I like the art work. Arizona is so pretty one can't help but be creative living there. Can't wait to visit your beautiful State again someday.
Thanks for stopping by my 'picnic'. Hope you brought some bug spray. Buzzzz ... [giggle]
Happy Fall Y'all!

The watercolor is outstanding - I love the touch of the golden fall leaves in the corner - and you are quoting one of my favorites from Thoreau! All perfect!

Hello...did my comment here stick?

I think my earlier comment was lost in the cybersphere. I just wanted to say that you have added an atmoshpere and mood of autumn to our picnic with your illustration. And the Thoreau quote...may we all lift our champagne glasses and drink to that toast!

Margaret Ann, thanks so much for inviting me over and yes, I would love to paint with you. Let me settle down right here where I can see that vase of sunflowers to an advantage. Do you mind if I swish my brush in your water jar? Oh, this late afternoon sunlight casts the best shadows at this time of the year!

I'll be sure to show you my painting once I'm done. Yours is just fantastic! This is so much fun.

Wowie! What a day this has been...The sun is just now setting in the Arizona desert the western sky is all aglow in peaches and lavenders...my new found picnic friends are peaceful and content and filled to the brim with delicious food, sweet song, and delightful conversation.
Thank you Museswings for organizing this global event...What a feast for the soul! :) Can't wait until our next get-together!

I hope you aren't really taking the cactus along. You must be careful. Happy Cactus Monday here on Thursday.
