"Yet Another..."

of two favorite late summer Illinois garden flowers.
To me...
the Indian Blanket flower heralds the coming of autumn
with her bold graphic display...
while the delicate Hollyhock bloom whispers nostalgic stories
of sentimental bygone summer days.
