"A Run for the Roses..."

...Waterblossoms style, that is...:)
These ATCs were made batik style...using masking fluid and ink
straight in...no pencil.
Hope today brings you some winning smiles...as for me...
I am artfully spending this day at the races
in my "studio".
Hmmmm...
I think..."I'll Have Another One"...:)
Si!
Happy Cinco de Mayo and Kentucky Derby Day!

there is nothing better for the inside of a man
than the outside of a horse."

Looks like we are both into flowers today. I photographed them yesterday and painted them today. Yours are wonderful colors and forms.

WEll, now; those are really pretty. Three "D" look to them is appealing to me. Roses are my all time favorite flower, too. Nicely done !

These are lovely, what a great idea. The flowers really pop out against the leaves where the masking fluid was.

Lovin your batik roses. I was out watching birds yesterday instead of watching horses running. We did a Spring Bird Count yesterday.

Have no idea how this masking fluid works but it looks fantastic! Like your artwork always does!

Great flowers; and yes, they are in Waterblossoms style! I especially like the purple one on the bottom, the shading makes it look like a well-crafted metal flower.

The beauty that surrounds me I take it with me everywhere I go.

Love these! I like how the flower stands out from the background but still fits with that background so much.
