"There is something in October sets the gypsy blood astir,
We must rise and follow her;
When from every hill of flame,
She calls and calls each vagabond by name.”

Happy October to you also, Margaret. A beautiful journal page to start the month!
tagetes, marigolds; I love them; another of my childhood garden flowers. Some despise their aroma and it's something I love. The spicy scent from the leaves. Tomato leaves is another wonderful scent....
I really meant to say Peggy, another lovely drawing from you.
These marigolds do make the fall seem so cheerful. Love the quote too. My blood does stir during October. I always want to migrate with the birds.
Beautiful study Margaret. We are experiencing what we call an 'Indian Summer' here in England and loving the extra time to paint in the garden.
Welcome home dear♥
