"A Little Something..."

...in classic black and white...
just to let you know I am still here in bloggy land
and for now simply
enjoying the last weeks of summer
here in Illinois...:)

Keep enjoying it and holding on to it..... and keep an eye out for the pumpkins of the coming season. I spotted the season's first glimpse of orange peeking out of some leaves in a field of pumpkins just yesterday .... the only one I could see from the car.

So enjoy your last little bit of summer.

Pretty drawings is this what you are putting in your sketchbook?

This is really delightful, it works well in black and white. Enjoy the summer- here we are waiting for it to be over because we get the best weather in winter :-)

Most unusual to see you doing b/w tonal piece. Like the great contrasts. Hope you enjoy your SKETCHBOOK PROJECT . Anita had told me about it and the current themes were very interesting. I'm not that confident with my sketchbooks - some pieces turn out good, others are rubbish from day to day... and I am planning on doing a sketchbook on Italian architecture from DVDs or books to get ready for our Italian holiday next May.

This is such a fresh crip look. Much like the cool fresh air you are now enjoying. Have a great weekend.
