...the evolution of cosmic star stuff into cellular life...
drawn here in my Moly with my Pitt pen.
Tell me what you see. :)
"The ground we walk on, the plants and creatures,
"The ground we walk on, the plants and creatures,
the clouds above constantly dissolving into new formations-
each gift of nature possessing its own radiant energy,
bound together by cosmic harmony."

Wow! I see hours of work and great patience! I like the way you have used just a touch of subdued colour to one side.
I see the sun and planets, the sea, nature, I see the 4 elements water, fire, earth and wind... sorry Margaret, you asked :)
I see babbling waters, leaves, fire, wind. Absolutely gorgeous! So intricate!
Gotta post again and encourage everyone to click the picture and blow it up to see all those different marks. AMAZING!!!
I see wonderful, careful attention to detail and great imagination. I see all the things the poem says is in there :)
I see an absolutely beautiful drawing! Four elements, energy and harmony. Love it :)
I see beauty personified!!!!!!! Stunning!!!!
The frothy sea lapping the shore~
Flames jumping off the sun~
Floating leaves and basket weaves~
Pure magic for everyone ;)
I love the lacy effect where you used the circles down the left side...beautiful design!
I see nicely composed lines, I see motives of fire, sand/earth, leaves/floral, spirals...I love spirals ^^ I see bonds and fusion, and circle of life... and expansion/growth.
:D I am not very good at this, but I can say one thing, it's awesome!
i see talent, pure indefinable talent giving pure pleasure!
Phoenix rising out of the fiery ashes, aliens linking 'hands' around one of their mysterious circles....rather breathtaking in its way.
I see all the elements in life flowing together beautifully and delicately...wonderfully done. Bravo!
the entire universe captured in a single spread. :)
Isn't this wonderful ?!
I see the muse has returned!! Wonderful illustration with superb attention to detail (as always)! I love the injection of a little colour and all the amazing patterns you've made creating movement and texture. This piece is energizing! Splendid, Margaret!
Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog and yes, of course, please do use any of those photos for a sketch - I'm honoured!! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

This would be a great visual support for a meditation - and it's beautiful! Your flowers and cactus on this special paper below are wonderful, too, love the rich colors!
I like perusing all the various answers people sent in. In answering the question What do you see? I realized just how concrete I am. I said precisely what I saw: Sun, leaves, a wave washing up on the shore.
Very nice drawings. I came here by way of Biffy Bean's fountain pen/ink/journal/mandala blog. I'm adding you to my list of blogs.
Thanks for sharing the beauty you have created.
