From one former (retired) teacher to another (my degree is in bio sci): the Genus species names of living things is properly put in italics and the Genus name is always capitalized while the species name is not; for instance; Homo sapiens. FYI.
Love the colors in this drawing. Wish I lived where there were plentiful cacti to watch come into bloom. I think they are the most beautiful of all flowering plant flowers!
